The grill, which will open its doors on February 22 in Punjab, will be the first Indian grill to open in the country’s Punjab region.
The grill will be situated at the Kaur Bagh community in Kailash Ghat in the heart of the Kailas district of Punjab.
“It is a project of the government of Punjab and we have been approached by a local farmer, Kaur Dabla Bhat, for setting up a grill in the community.
This project will bring in new jobs and help people get out of poverty,” said Sunil Nanda, the owner of the Grill and Bar, the company that owns the grill.
The project is being funded by the Government of India.

California teen’s dog-fighting charges dropped
A California teenager who said he was a dog-fearing vigilante who protected his neighbors from crime has been cleared of the charges against him.
State prosecutors dropped criminal charges of animal cruelty against 19-year-old Caleb Brown, who had been charged with multiple felonies.
Brown had pleaded not guilty in November to a charge of animal neglect and was released from a halfway house after his initial trial.
Prosecutors argued Brown’s dogfighting was part of his vigilante lifestyle and that he was not a danger to anyone, according to The Associated Press.
Prosecutors said the investigation found no evidence of Brown being the target of a violent crime or having any intent to cause harm.
